EOModeler and JDK 1.4

Is there any way to force EOModeler to use JDK 1.4? I'm trying to connect to a Cache database (Intersystems) using their jdbc driver. Somewhere in their jdbc driver they make a call to javax/sql/ConnectionEventListener, which is only in 1.4, not 1.3.1 (at least the version on Mac OS X), so I get an error in EOModeler's connection wizard. I'm just hoping I don't have to wait until after 1.4 is released and WO catches up.
