WOFileUpload 'overwrite' binding broken???

  • Subject: WOFileUpload 'overwrite' binding broken???

Has anyone else actually gotten the 5.2 WOFileUpload 'overwrite' binding to work? It's default is false. That's fine. But setting it to true seems to have no effect. Even if it's true, when using the streamToFilePath binding, it is not overwriting an existing file at the chosen location. It's refusing to overwrite. Ignoring the binding.

I'm on Windows.

It's possible I (or my workstation) are just going crazy. One of my workstations is already out of commission cause I can't get WO to work at all on it, so I'm on the backup. I'd be very interested in if anyone else can duplicate this. But if they can, and it is a bug... one has to wonder what kind of QA took place for the new WOFileUpload. And how many people are using WebObjects if this (and many other WOFileUpload bugs I've encountered) haven't been noticed yet.
