Hi, Everyone!

First of all, thanks to everyone that took the time to reply to my "Which
Mac for a Microsoft Guru" message the other day. I learned a lot! Second,
I am very sorry for only replying to a few messages. but I do have a good
reason! =)

I learned a lot from all of you. Most importantly (for me) is that I
learned I was not alone. There are tons of other developers in my
situation. Microsoft developers wanting to switch to Apple. In fact, I
found so many other guys and gals in my situation that I'm working with a
local Apple VAR to implement a "Macintosh Purchase Program" for them (and me
as well, of course). basically, we're getting killer deals on the 2002
PowerMacs (as much as $1000 off in some cases).

Anyway, I would not have gotten there without your help. I would have ended
up with a budget priced iMac and would have never been happy. So, again,
thank you all very VERY much. It's great to know such a warm group of
people make up the Apple community.

Many thanks,
Fred Lackey
Senior Microsoft Developer / Wannabe Mac Developer
