Omni's WO mailing lists are already available as newsgroups from GMANE
(www.gmane.org). It's a gateway for mailing lists to become groups. I
find the newsgroup format much more suitable for high traffic - deep
thread discussions that we find in these mailing lists.

Unfortunately, Apple won't allow GMANE to mirror their mailing lists in
the newsgroup format. I guess they lose a little control.

Cheers,
Ashley.

That would be a more versatile medium, yes!

As the developer base grows, the threaded nature of a newsgroup would
be especially apt.

cheers!
