Sure you do. Java is an object-oriented language, right? Your custom EO classes inherit from EOGenericRecord which inherits from EOCustomObject. Look at not only the methods your custom EO classes define but also those inherited. Learn to use the tools for class browsing like Project Builder's Classes tab or Help>WebObjects Help menu item. Read the WebObjects and EOF documentation and tutorials. This is pretty basic stuff.
