No, I don't think so. GMANE already allows email address mangling. I
am not sure exactly what it does, but email addresses get garbled (ie
protected from scapers and spammers).
I think there may be some how to still use them (eg the email must be
from someone on the list and goes through GMANE) but I haven't had time
to read the instructions on how to do that.
It is a great system, sure makes my mailing list reading more enjoyable.
As I mentioned the Omnigroup lists are already on GMANE (both the Mac
OS X ones and the WebObjects ones). Check it out if you get time
(www.gmane.org).
