DisplayGroup Question

  • Subject: DisplayGroup Question

Hey List,

I love using DisplayGroups to build value lists, but I recently ran into a bug (or something I don't understand) and am confused when it comes to configuring the display. Actually, it is rather funny that I never ran into this before, but I usually have all the values in a tabbed format in alpha order. When imported into the db, they are imported in alpha order and thus returned that way. But, to the question...

When I create the DisplayGroup, I check "fetches on load" and then select sorting by the entity item in ascending order. I am not using a fetch spec. Yet, the sorting does not work. ??? Is there a trick to make it work, or do I need to use a fetch spec that defines the sort order?

Thanks for your help and all of the good advice that comes with the list.

Reid
