Afternoon, folks!
We're trying to set up WO 5.2 for Windows to use the mySQL Connector Java
.jar (version 3.0.8) -- jar file has been placed in both the C:\Apple\Java
path as well as the JDK jre path, and CLASSPATH variable has been set to
include both. When we go into EOModeler to set up a new model, we pick
JDBC, enter the user ID and password, add the URL, then put the connector
jar name in the Driver field. Click "Ok", and we get a single dialog with a
caution icon and the name of the jar...no other error text...and no
progress. Put it in the Plug-in field, and we get "JDBC connection failed
for driver: 'org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver'. Driver not found in Java Runtime!
Please verify your CLASSPATH environment variable. The current CLASSPATH
for your application is:" followed by the correct CLASSPATH with BOTH
locations in it. JRE is 1.4.1, and all Windows-side WO updates have been
applied.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance!
