thanx, did it but doesn't work.

Here is the exception in eomodeler after typing
"jdbc:mysql://localhost/test" in the 'driver' section:

JDBC connection failed for driver :'jdbc:mysql://localhost/test'.
Driver not found in Java Runtime! Please verify your CLASSPATH
environment variable. The current CLASSPATH for your application is :
/Developer/Applications/EOModeler.app/Contents/Resources/Java/
eomodeler.zip:/Users/sxtosh/Library/Java:/Library/Java:/System/
Library/Java:/Network/Library/Java:/System/Library/Java/Extensions/
mysql-connector-java-3.0.8-stable-bin.jar:/Developer/Applications/
EOModeler.app/Contents/Resources/Java/eomodeler.zip

any idea?

hello,

thanx everyone for the help on changing from openbase to mysql!

now i have set up the db with "phpmyadmin" and downloaded the "jdbc
driver for mysql".
in eomodeler i tried to make use of the driver, but it is not in
the "CLASSPATH environment variable"!

i tried to put it in "/etc/profile" like this:

CLASSPATH=/Library/Java/Extensions/mysql-connector-java-3.0.8-
stable-bin.jar
export CLASSPATH

but that did not work.

where should i do that??

maybe in some users "profile"? but which ?

thanx in advance

cheers christian telepski
