Personally, I'd add on to that a feature request for the EODatabaseContext
exposing it's active editing context. activeEditingContext()? If that were
available, it would make debugging, and some advanced coding, a lot easier.

I filed a bugreport on on the (maybe) missing documentation for database
context's active editing context.
