It sounds like what you want to do is create bindings for your
subcomponent pages. In your UserAdd page use the API Editor and create a
binding for member. Then in your MainUser page create an instance and
set method for member. Bind the member instance of MainUser to the
member binding of UserAdd. That should allow you to use the code you
describe here:
>public MainUser editUser() {
> MainUser nextPage = (MainUser)pageWithName("MainUser");
> nextPage.setMember(memberItem);
> return nextPage;
>}
To set the member in the UserAdd page.
