I have directly used...

RCS
DevMan (later turned into JavaSafe, I think)
SourceSafe

long time, a goal has been to toss CVS and use something else.
As such, any time I run across a rave review of some random RC/SCM/CM
tool, I have investigated said tool to determine if it is compelling
enough to use.
At this point, it looks like subversion will be a total win once it
solves the opaque collection problem -- the development team is on the
right track, but it is both a hard problem and-- unfortunately-- will
require re-working of the "most organic pieces of the subversion source
tree". The downside to subversion is that it is a very large pile of
code -- it is difficult to build.
