Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but here you say you installed both dev and deploy? I trust you mean on two different systems. You should only install one or the other on any one computer. The two installations set things up slightly different and WOAutoLaunchInBrowser is one of them.

Just wanted to clarify.

i have set the launch-arguments to WOAutoLaunchInBrowser true and it
still does NOT open it!
..and how do i start javamonitor now???

I know it's a pain, but you might want to try completely removing WO and maybe even the developer tools and reload everything. Make sure you install either WO Developer or WO Deployment and not both on one system.


If you absolutely cannot get the auto launch feature working you can still access the application using the URL. Sorry I can't be more help. I've not experienced this particular problem personally.
