That could be the problem. WebObjects Development includes WebObjects Deployment, if you install the latter over the former it would certainely corrupt your WebObjects installation.

i have set the launch-arguments to WOAutoLaunchInBrowser true and it still does NOT open it! ..and how do i start javamonitor now???
