If you're providing the client app via Web Start, it doesn't have
access to the system clipboard for copy/paste. Recent discussions on
the OmniGroup webobjects-dev lists suggest workarounds (search for
'Permitting D2JC to write a local/client disk'). If none of those
workarounds are feasible for you, you might consider providing the app
to your researchers in another way (see the JavaClientLauncher example).

Hello everyone.
I have build a direct2java application which allows a our researchers
to input/change data directly in the database. It all works pretty
well, but...
I can't use copy and paste from e.g. Excell... I was only able to do
it from the direct access...
Any ideas anyone?

ps. if someone is more interested, I can provide the actual app for
testing....
