Actually, the Direct to Java Client application built with WebObjects is pure Java/Swing and runs natively on both platforms. I have it running quite well on both systems in our office.

I need to build a swing application that will run on both Mac and Windows.
WebObjects has a "Java Client Application" but looks as if uses various NS
objects and Cocoa. Someone has told me that the project will compile into
pure Java/Swing, but I find this hard to believe.

Project Builder also has a "Java Swing Application" project type but it is
PURE swing. I would be happy to use this if I have to (I assume that I do)
but would really like to be able to use a graphical utility to build the
windows/dialogs.

Could someone please help a newbie?

Thanks! =)
