Can't you kill it in a terminal?
Yeah i was wondering how i could do that without calling the administrator
of the server as I don't have access to the services on the host. Regardless
i've called him now and he's done that for me now but he won't restart the
computer. I have to wait for a scheduled reboot for that, so I'm waiting now
to see if it worked and... ... ... ... bingo! it worked
Thanks Ricardo

Morning folks,
Somehow I seem to have two Monitors running on the same machine one is
password protected, the other is not. The one that is not has sprug up
from nowhere, or at least I don't know how I have caused it to, but the
other holds all the configuration details, however, the new Monitor wont
allow me to configure anything because the other is password enabled, but
I can't get to it to shut it down nor it seems can I control the new one.
Anyone ever had thids problem and got out of it?
