This is a silly question. Can one deploy a webobjects application on a .Mac homepage?

Sadly no. To deploy on .Mac Apple would have to install and run your WebObjects server application. You application would take up significant RAM space on the Apple server. Multiply this by a number of WO developers and I think it just becomes impossible, even though the number of WO developers is not as large as it should be.

I think this is a big problem for promoting WebObjects. If only Apple could provide hosting for (small) WebObjects applications in the same way that they allow home users to show off their photos sand videos, it would be a boost to getting aspiring developers to have a go.
