- Thread-topic: copy WO application from one machine to the other
Hi!
I am trying to get a WO 5.2 Java client application to run using WebStart. In order to get the required privileges, I need to sign the JAR files of my application as well as those of the imported frameworks. In order to do so I created a dummy certificate which works fine.
The catch is that the Apple created wojavaclient.jar file is signed by a certificate of their own. If I don't sign it using my certificate, WebStart refuses to launch the application as one of the downloaded JAR was signed by a different certificate than the others. If I do sign it, WebStart complains about the JAR being signed twice.
What can I do short of extracting all files from Apple's JAR and recreating it with my own signature?
TIA
Pierre.
