Hmm, my OS X system has no /System/WebObjects directory. Under OS X,
the examples are in /Developer/Examples/JavaWebObjects. I assume under
Windows a similar path exists under the directory in which WO is
installed.
i had no clue any of these examples existed,
and i only have one book with me, and it says nothing about these
examples. i see there are .jar files and directories with classes. how
can i run these examples. can i just toss them all into PB and compile
and it'll just work? must i assign them to targets?
/Developer/Examples/About Examples.rtf explains how to build these
examples. I usually copy them to another directory rather than
attempting to build them in place.
i'm assuming the
discussion board has a login because i see password fields in the
openbase db that is there.
The "JC" prefix of the project "JCDiscussionBoard" indicates that this
is a Java Client project, so it might not be exactly what you're
looking for. Most (all?) of these example projects include Readme.html
files, so take a look at these for more info.
