Hello everybody,
I installed both the developer and deployment versions of WebObjects
5.1 on my Mac OS X Server. Later, since the developer has updates, I
updated it to WebObjects 5.1.2 and then to WebObjects 5.1.4. I
couldn't upgrade my deployment version to 5.1.2 as I have the developer
upgrade for it. The reason for me to have both the developer and
deployment on the same machine is, in case of very minor changes, I
can directly do it on the Mac OS X Server, instead of copying it from
my development machine which is a Mac OS X.
Now, I try to install my application on Mac OS X Server in order to
deploy the same using pbxbuild install command. It installs but fails
when I try to execute it. When I double click on MyApp.woa it opens
the application WOLauncher and nothing happens. I am able to run my
application through the Project Builder. When I try run
"http://myHostURL/cgi-bin/WebObjects", I get the message "The request
could not be completed due to a server error".
Is it because, I have I have both the developer and deployment version
in the same machine.
Please advice,
Thanks,
Meena.
