The usually means that the user pressed Stop! in the browser or that a
request took too long to process and the browser gave up or was sent
elsewhere by the adaptor(aka the peer). It is just informational, not
indicative of a defect in your code.

That's fine, so i'm safe to ignore this in the main am I?

I don't recall ever seeing a case where this was important, other than debugging complaints from users due to requests taking too long to process.

P.S. Most of us are subsribed to all groups so cross posting is not
needed. All it does is fill up our in-boxes with muliple copies and make
us cross. Hence the name, cross posting. :-P

OK, I recently subscribed to the OmniGroup WebObjects list as well as being subcribed to the Apple and Yahoo WebObjects lists, when replying do I just reply to Apple for instance or just that particular group. Or, if I am putting up a new posting do i just use the Apple WebObjects list as opposed to the other two? What's the best list to go through?

It depends. :-) Do you ever get any answers from the Yahoo list? I never post there as I am not a member and don't want to be. If you get answers, then that is the place for newbie questions. The OmniGroup lists were first by many years so if someone knowledgeable is only sub-scribed to one this, chances are that is the list. Apple also has no editorial control over this list. Obviously they do over the Apple hosted lists, though I have no idea if they have or would ever use this. The advantage of the Apple lists is that it is perhaps more likely that Apple employees monitor that one and respond to questions with 'insider' information. The general polite policy is to pick a group and post your question. If you don't get an answer after a reasonable amount of time (five minutes is not reasonable ;-), try posting to another list.
