Hi!
I have like zillions of problems with pop-ups!
You can't bind the selectedObject aspect to the controller display group. As a workaround one may bind the selectedIndex aspect which is not available from the InterfaceBuilder (at least not from the crippled Windows version). One may also use a patched EODisplayGroup I sent to the list a while ago as replacement controller display group.
It also appears that if 2 entries in the popup have the same title/display string, selecting one of those actually selects the first one!
Now I can't tell what specific problem you are seeing. I guess I went through the tutorial and it was fine. You should try to post some specific code that fails.

Subject: JavaClient and Popups
Hi List,
has anybody experience with Pop-up Menus in Nib Files? I use WO 5.2.1 with
Java 1.3.1 and the example from Chapter 21 in the book "Java Client Desktop
Applications" is not working propperly. I get the items listed, but the
Pop-up is not working right. If I select something, the Pop-up doesn't
adjust itself to display the selection.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
