I am in a PowerMac G3 (B&W) trying to install the dev-tools in an
external FireWire but:
1. I cannot boot from it (may be an OpenFirmware isue; i have 1.1f4),
so I installed OSX (10.2.3) from its .mpkg files.
2. When I try to install the Developer.mpkg, the installer does not
alow me to select such a device (it says that it most have installed
OSX... but it has; not yet configure, becouse of the bootable isue 1.)
You can only install the Dev-tools on your boot drive. You *may* be
successful with manually mounting the FW drive on /Developer but I'm
almost 100% sure that you shouldn't really bother.
