If you have subscribed to .Mac that would be mail.mac.com (incomming) and smtp.mac.com (outgoing). Are you asking about POP/IMAP?

Check out the documentation for WOMailDelivery. This object will allow you to compose and send email, provided you have set an outgoing server.

Greetings all!

I am trying to learn WebObjects. I have planned on my first app being a
simple web-based email client. What do most people use for incoming SMTP
and outgoing sends on the Mac platform (more specifically, when developing
with WebObjects)?

Thanks! =)
