Just guessing...
when the problem ocures, did you try to search for a process using
address 8007?
It seems like some one else is trying to use such an address, but
cannot figure out who.
Maybe another instance of the same app?

I do set it to 2500 using the -WOPort command-line argument. I prefer
using browser shortcuts all set with main and direct action URLs. I
have been doing this for years without problem. The problem I have now
had just started to occur since a few days. I wonder if it is related
to Mac OS 10.2.6 update...
Note that the log complains about address 8007 being in use. This is
the address passed to the -Xrunjdwp:transport argument. This seems to
be related to jdb, but I don't why this just started to malfunction.

Are you assigning the WOPort manually??

Hi,
Recently, I started getting the following error when I try to debug
a WO app: Project Builder freezes solid for a while, and then the
following appears in the log:

FATAL ERROR in native method: No transports initialized
The Debugger has exited due to signal 6 (SIGABRT).
This happens from time to time, but often enough to be ennoying
(about 1 time out of 10). When it happens, I just launch the
application again and it works. I don't know what does this error
means, why this happens and what I can do to avoid it.
I am using WebObjects 5.2.1, Mac OS X 10.2.6 and Java 1.3.1. I have
never upgraded the machine to Java 1.4.
