WebObjects and MySQL...

  • Subject: WebObjects and MySQL...

Hi,

I'm sure this (obviously newbie) question has been asked many times
before but please bear with me....

I created a D2J Client app with OpenBase as the back-end and it's
working quite nicely. Now, I would like to deploy the app with MySQL.

I have re-created the database in MySQL with EOModeler and have
imported the data into the appropriate tables. When I launch the app I
can view all of the data just fine. However, when I try to edit I get
the following error:

Server Exception: updateValuesInRowDescribedByQualifier --
com.webobjects.jdbcadaptor.JDBCChannel method failed to update row in
database!

I am running Mac OS X 10.2.6 and WebObjects 5.2.1 with MySQL 3.23.56
and I put the latest mysql-connector-java-3.0.8-stable-bin.jar file in
/Library/Java/Extensions/.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Christian
