Alternatively, you might have to select the model and open the
inspector to add the variables that it is talking about.
Or work out how to append them to the JDBC URL for your database
eg
jdbc:mysql://127.0.0.1/dbName?useUnicode=true&characterEncoding=UTF-
8&autoReconnect=true&maxReconnects=3&capitalizeTypeNames=true
