After banging my head against the wall on this one for several days, a
friend mentions how I shouldn't share editingContexts between modules (here,
I thought I was being crafty and efficient :\) After fixing that,
everything works just fine.
So it turns out there *WAS*NO*NULL* in my nullPtrException, just that I was
mucking things up by sharing EOECs.
