Using raw rows with bind variables

I have some custom sql that I need to send to the database, and I'm using
rawRowsWithSql, but now I want to use bind variables in this situation.

Has anyone ever done this?  I'm thinking I probably have to use a stored
procedure rather than try to figure out how to get EOF to use my custom bind
variables.  Right?
