Now I'm determined to understand this :-) I'm using EOModeler's
Table Mode. I deleted all columns in the relationship table.
There's no "Follow Relationship" choice in the relationship "Add
column..." pop-up. I do see the cardinality indicators in Browser
Mode, but this doesn't sound like what's being described. How does
one display the "Follow Relationship" column?
Works for me. I deleted the column (it has no icon in the column
heading) and then checked the Add Column menu. I was offered "Follow
Relationship".
I guess this will have to remain an EOModeler mystery for me. I even
edited the EOModeler preferences file, com.apple.EOModeler.plist,
adding a "Follow Relationship" relationship column to no avail :-(
http://developer.apple.com/documentation/WebObjects/UsingEOModeler/
3UsingModeler/chapter_3_section_4.html shows this column but doesn't
seem to discuss it. However, it doesn't show the "Description" column
that is available in my EOModeler. Oh, well...
Which is Table Mode? I'm using the third icon down in the menu at top
left.
That's Table Mode (see the Tools > Table Mode menu).
They're all about tables.
Ahem, they're all about entities :-)
Aloha,
Art
