The announcement mentioned Software Update, so that's a "yes".

No issues that I'm aware of.

Whatever the sequence, it'll be obvious and/or documented. :-)

Let's hold-off on Xcode questions until after Panther is released.  Then, if
the docs and release notes don't answer your questions, you can ask again.
