What type of license comes with the installation of WO 5.2.1 that is
pre-installed on Mac OS X 10.2.7? Is it the 30-day demo licence, or is it
some other type of deployment license?

Development is supported with WebObjects 5.2.1 on OS X 10.2.7 (which comes
pre-installed on current G5's). Deployment under OS X Server isn't
supported yet, because OS X Server does not yet run on the G5 (you'll need
to wait for 10.3 Server). <http://www.info.apple.com/kbnum/n86444>

Depends on your WebObjects version. If you're using WebObjects 5.2.1, you
can use either Java 1.3.1 (tested and supported) or Java 1.4.1 (untested,
unsupported, but generally works). <http://developer.apple.com/webobjects>
