Is it possible to make my table dynamic grow?

Dear all,
Would need to urgently if i could make my table dynamic grow? For example, if i make the table default size to be 2 rows X 2 columns. Now if i ask the user to key in the number of rows & columns to set the size of the table. If the user keys in 4 rows and 5 columns, then the table now will change to 4 rows and 5 columns respectively.
Is it possible to do that in webobject? I understand that this can be supported by Java 1.2. Do advice. Many thanks,
