PS: The EOF book at http://developer.apple.com/documentation/WebObjects/Enterprise_Objects/Concurrency/chapter_11_section_3.html

says "There is a global lock for loading EOModel files".

But I can't find documentantation of this, beyond that sentence, anywhere. Is this "global lock for loading EOModel files" exposed to the developer? Is it the right lock to take before _changing_ an already loaded EOModel anyway?
