When i try to connect to my WO-Application on my remote webserver i get
the error-message "No instance available " . For the last 5 days it was
working fine, ie i was able to connect and use my WOApp.
I assume that the application instance has crashed. In Addition the
local JavaMonitor instance which running on that machine and is
supposed to be restarting the app has supposedly crashed too.
How can i restart it without using javamonitor? I cannot use
JavaMonitor because it won't connect to my WOServer with JavaMonitor. I
assume this is because it is behind a firewall.
On a 2nd try to connect i received the following errormessage:
...
com.webobjects.eoaccess.EODatabaseContext@14512e: failed to open
database channel.
Check your connection dictionary, and ensure your database is correctly
configured.
...
my mysql-db is working fine. i can login on my machine via ssh and use
my db with mysql-cl-client.
I'm running my app on a machine that is connected to the internet with
a dsl-line that is cut once a day. it then reconnects automatically
after a couple of minutes and receives a new ip number. i'm using the
dyndns-service to have a static name for my machine. The EOModel uses
"localhost" to connect to the mysql-server. Is it possible that my
WOApp suffer from the dynamic ip-address?
