Check the tomcat logs - this usually means that there was an error loading the WOServletAdaptor class.

Hi. I'm currently struggling with servlet deployment on Windows. I'm using
WO5.2.2 (Developer with Deployment license key) and Tomcat. It looks to me
like tomcat can't find com.webobjects.jspservlet.WOServletAdaptor. Trouble
is, I can't find it either...

I've built a HelloWorld app as a servlet using WOLips. I found I had to
tweak a few values in the web.xml file (classpaths etc), but I believe I'm
now in a position where it should be working. When I try to connect to the
app using the following url:

	http://myserver:8080/HelloWorld/WebObjects/HelloWorld.woa

... tomcat says "Servlet WOServletAdaptor is currently unavailable"

I've opened
\Apple\Library\Frameworks\JavaWOJSPServlet.framework\Resources\Java\jav awojs
pservlet.jar with WinZip and it's not there. The contents of the jar are:

	com\webobjects\jspservlet\_WOApplicationWrapper.class
	com\webobjects\jspservlet\_WOServletAppInterface.class
	com\webobjects\jspservlet\_WOSessionWatcher.class
	com\webobjects\jspservlet\WOServletContext.class
	com\webobjects\jspservlet\WOServletSessionStore.class
	com\webobjects\jspservlet\meta-inf\Manifest.mf

I'm starting to wonder whether it's not there in the Developer installation,
which I'd always believed to include everything that's in the Deployment
installation. Could someone who has servlet deployment working please
confirm where (on the filesystem) WOServletAdaptor.class lives or give me
any other tips to get round "Servlet WOServletAdaptor is currently
unavailable".

Thanks,
Alex
