I've never used OmniWeb, but from the sound of it, it's a feature OmniWeb provides that you can't get rid of. Well, maybe you could in OmniWeb preferences, but that's up to the individual user. If it does what it seems to, it shouldn't cause any problems, it's just a convenience for the user, being able to edit the text in a larger window.
