Anybody else shocked by the preliminary list of session at WWDC 2004? It lists only 2 WebObjects sessions. Both of no interest to the existing user base.

As someone who does event planning (for science fiction conventions), it probably just means they haven't firmed up who is going to talk on what topic yet. Or, they've confirmed their availability, but not their schedule.

Does this imply

- there is no news regarding WebObjects this year ?
- news so confidential it can't make it to the preleminary list ?
- the WebObjects team was not ready to commit to a list of sessions ?
- lack of commitment to WebObjects ?

None of the above can be inferred until the final schedule is out. However, it would never hurt to let Apple know how you feel. :)

I admit being afraid the last option could be the right one. Yet this doesn't fit with prebious news. More importantly, why would they keep up the introductory sessions obviously meant to lure new developers to the tool?

At this point -- because it's easiest to schedule. They've got a lot of people who could do those sessions, or those people have already been confirmed.
