Apppend to WOHyperlink Invoking Action

Is there a way to append a query key/pair after a WOHyperlink that is
pointing to an action?
I would rather not create a dozen actions when I could just append some
text and read it out of the context to determine the sub-action...
I.e. can I get something like this:
?sort=par_desc appended to a WOHyperlink pointing to an action? If not,
is there another easy way to get this in the response or do I just need
to create a ton of actions for each possible button?
