We're working on a site and we need to push a lot of data through

I have looked around for testing automation tools but did not have
much luck in the mac arena at least.
Does anyone have ideas for something that will read from a text
file, for example, put the stuff into the boxes on the screen, and
push the button?
Yes! ;-)
Take a look at jWebUnit, see http://jwebunit.sourceforge.net/.
When using jWebUnit or other tools like this one you have to give
your dynamic elements knows ids or names, so you can refere to them
in your javacode.
You might also want to take a look at WOUnitTest which is a
unittesting framework for WO, see http://wounittest.sourceforge.net/
If you aren't into unittesting already, please take a look at
http://c2.com/cgi/wiki?TestDrivenDevelopment. Your life (atleast not
the programming part of it :) will not be the same after reading this
book.
Have fun!
