Xcode 1.5 is substantially faster as well. I am learning IntelliJ at the moment and its good for the (nearly) common UI across platforms as well a many other good features (for a price, of course). However, I like XCode for its clean, intuitive interface and will probably continue to use it for Cocoa-Java apps, Obj-C, and anything Mac specific. If Tiger expands the Java memory model and 2.0 supports it, I will likely use it for server applications.
