Ryan,
I'm using FrontBase on a large database application (web based) and have
been using it for quite sometime for other projects. I would say it is by
no means dead :-) I find their support very good, they respond to serious
bugs quickly (usually) and they do appear to be continuing to develop the
software. I am using version 3.4 and it's very stable. I haven't even
upgraded to version 4 as yet as I don't currently see the need.
I would have to say I would recommend it to anyone. (I use Mac OS X and the
management frontend is pretty cool.
Regards,
Dave.
