It may help, but the 5.2.3 update is NOT required for JDK 1.4.2. I've
been using 1.4.2 (and update 1) and WO 5.2.2 together just fine for
months.
5.2.3 is known to break some JavaClient applications, so it's not
necessarily a safe update for everyone.
