Just once more, an EOF/ObjC replacement?

Hello all,

Anybody knows (and has tested) a reasonably good EOF/ObjC replacement?

The very now I am starting a Cocoa project which would need EOF badly, if there was one. Anyway I need to access a database server from Cocoa; so, I wanted to ask the list for ideas what to use instead. At this moment I am looking at easyDB, but it does not offer a decent EO abstraction at all, not speaking of that it does not seem to work well with my FrontBase.

What I actually need for this particular project is the lower EOF part, up to and including EOEditingContext. I can do without display groups and associations. It does not need to be extremely efficient (relatively small data, the server not accessed too often). The thing *must* work well with MS-SQL; it would be very convenient if it worked with FrontBase, too.

(Note: whatever there might be in stock in Tiger alas does not help, since the project must be finished this year.)

Grateful for any advice,
===
