I don't think the discussion should be between WO and Jdeveloper. It seems
one discussion should be the merits of Jdeveloper and tools like Eclipse.
Another discussion should detail the benefits of WO and other java based
database and web development frameworks (i.e. Struts, JDBC, EJB, etc).
Comparing WO to Jdeveloper is like comparing Java to Visual Studio. One is a
tool the other is a set of libraries and frameworks.
