Wonder nightly builds+release schedule

All,

I'm about to set up some auto-build scheme for Project Wonder and would like to gauge interest first.

We are aware that there is far too much time (about a year on average) on between releases and I think it'd be a good idea to provide for nightly builds and .x releases about other month or so. However, the release upload at Sourceforge is from what I see hard to automate, so there would be quite a bit of manual work involved, so I'd like to do only what the users are really interested in. The other option is - like in the past - to point people to the CVS head, but my guess is that the build setup is not for the faint of heart:)

I'd also like some feedback if the build should stay in one package - which is *huge* - or be split up into smaller parts. AFAIK, the only subproject that can be used as a standalone are Validity and SVG, all the others depend on the ER frameworks in some way. So a partitioning would assume that people are aware of the dependency. One way would be to provide a complete package and in addition to have the common frameworks as a separate download, as there is where most work is going into.

Ideas and wishes are very much welcome, but please reply to wonder-disc only.

Cheers, Anjo
