I can't create this in a rule since the value is dynamic, the component already reads from the "width" rule and I don't want to change it to read it from a parameter or something of the sort, I just want the component calling it to create the rule dynamically so that I don't have to change the component.

Is this hard to do?

Why would you want to do that? Just create a rule with RuleEditor?
