I hope this is not too much of a newbie question. I installed Web
Objects 5.2 on a machine with the JDK 1.4.2 before I realized that was a
no-no, and http://localhost:1085 <http://localhost:1085/> was working.
I then uninstalled the JDK, but embarrassing enough did not stop the Web
Objects services. I stopped the Web Objects services and installed JDK
1.3.1_09, but port 1085 came back with a page cannot be displayed error.
Since that point I have uninstalled the JDK and Web Objects, I have
cleaned up the registry, I have checked the path, but I have run out of
things to check and port 1085 still does not work.
Does anyone have any ideas? Or, can anyone point me to other things
(configuration files, log files, etc) to look at?
Thanks.
