entity keypath arithmetic?

  • Subject: entity keypath arithmetic?

Let's say I've got an entity "Employee". And I've got a keypath through to-one relationships that leads from that entity, say "toDepartment.toSector" or something.

Is there an easy way using EOF convenience methods to figure out what entity that keypath points to, in only a few lines of code? I know how to do it by hand, breaking the keypath into components and interrogating the EOEntity and EORelationship objects, and I guess it would only take a dozen or two lines of code, but I'm wondering if there's an easier built in way.
